Current Projects

IFBA’s Current Projects are in Liberia, West Africa. IFBA has plans to expand to other African countries according to our long-term strategic plans.

IFBA Scholarship program underway.

The IFBA Scholarship Program is the new flagship program of the entire organization. The organization has now transitioned to a scholarship and school sponsorship model to increase its impact in Liberian communities. The IFBA Scholarship program is designed to include a series of scholarship funds to support students through schools in Liberia. The goal is to have different funds that fund a student’s entire academic journey from K-12. Our goal is to award 25 scholarships for the 2023 - 2024 school year.

Roof Renovation at Eagle’s Nest Academy, Margibi County, Liberia.

IFBA is working with Eagle’s Nest Academy to renovate the entire roof of the school. There are holes in the roof and students are being rained on when it rains. The roof renovation project is underway and should be completed by Fall 2023.

The Library at Korto Vogar School, Monrovia, Liberia.

The library project at Korto Vogar has been planned. We are currently working with the schools to negotiate the budget with contractors before work can begin. IFBA plans to fundraise and seek grants to help fund the project. Our deadline for this project is December 2023.

Books and School Supplies.

IFBA has shipped over 10,000 books to our partner schools in 2022. IFBA will be shipping another 10,000 plus books and school supplies to students in Liberia. The book giveaway program will give out 3 books to each student at every one of our partner schools. Our vision is to help students build up their home libraries, an essential part of adequate education.
