Access to Education Scholarship Program.
The IFBA Scholarship Program is the new flagship program of the entire organization. The organization has now transitioned to a scholarship and school sponsorship model to increase its impact in Liberian communities. The IFBA Scholarship program is designed to include a series of scholarship funds to support students through schools in Liberia. The goal is to have different funds that fund a student’s entire academic journey from K-12.
School Supplies & Book Distribution.
Reading is very important for many reasons. Most students in Africa do not have books at home, nor do they have a library in the community that they can visit. We want to provide books to the students at our partner schools so that they can take it home and build their mini library collections at homes. This way students can have resources to practice their reading skills and improve their overall literacy.
Library Initiative.
The objective of this program is to build, renovate and improve libraries at all IFBA partner schools, equip the libraries with books and educational resources.Libraries are one of the most essential and crucial resource that can be made available to students, for students to achieve a well-rounded education.
School Infrastructure Improvement.
The objective of this program is to fund improvements and renovations of all IFBA partner schools; to provide students with a safe, sanitary, functioning and working environment in which learning is made possible without barriers or hardship. Our goal is to improve IFBA schools and get them all in a condition where the facilities meet the needs of the students and faculty.
